Recognition

SkillForge is early-stage and solo-maintained. The recognition model is intentionally honest about what it can sustain.

What happens when your pack merges

  • Your work is in the public Git history. Every commit, every author — permanent and attributable.
  • Your pack appears in the generated catalog. Browsable on the docs site, searchable, and exportable via the CLI.
  • Strong packs become the examples future contributors learn from. The best contributions shape the standard.

Coming soon

  • Featured contributor acknowledgements on the docs site
  • Highlighted packs in release notes
  • Sponsor and contributor wall on the community page
  • Roadmap credit when major packs ship

What recognition will not become

SkillForge will not add gamification — no badges, points, or leaderboards that the maintainer cannot keep accurate. Recognition follows real shipped value, not engagement theater.

If your work makes the catalog better, it will be visible and attributed. That is the commitment.
